The man who fears the LORD is blessed:
He finds delight in God's commands.
His children will be blessed as well,
His offspring mighty in the land.
From darkness, light will dawn for him
Who's upright, merciful, and just.
'Tis well for him who freely lends.
In God alone he puts his trust.
The righteous one remains secure;
Remembered he will always be.
He has no fear of tidings ill;
His heart is firm as firm can be.
An all-enduring righteousness
Belongs to those who trust the LORD.
The wicked see it and despair;
They gnash their teeth and melt away.
